Joe Biden is the current Vice President of the United States, elected alongside President Barack Obama in 2008 and 2012. Biden was born in Scranton, Pennsylvania, in 1942, and became a U.S. Senator from Delaware in 1972. He has run for President twice, in 1988 and 2008.
